Jamie (he/they) is an LA-based actor, voice artist, and musician best known for their recurring role on Oprah Winfrey Network's David Makes Man and as an inaugural cast member of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Talent Spotlight.
Raised across the East Coast with roots in the South, Jamie spent most evenings on stage, performing live music and as part of the family business. While further discovering personal passions and multidisciplinary crafts, Jamie completed high school a year early and found their next creative stride as a 3D animation student at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Graduating mid-pandemic in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation.
Fresh from university, Jamie was tapped for a new journey, following an out-of-the-blue opportunity to audition for an upcoming OWN television project. Months later Jamie made their acting debut as ASHOK on the Peabody Award-Winning David Makes Man from Academy Award-Winner Tarell Alvin McCraney. The young actor has gone on to narrate over a dozen titles with Penguin Random House Audio, such as queer YA novels The Passing Playbook (Isaac Fitzsimons) and Ryan & Avery (David Levithan). Along with internet production house FourFront media, Jamie also amassed over 150k+ followers and 5 million likes on TikTok as "Ollie" (@oxenfreeollie) a young transman sharing his journey through family and queerdom.
